Plainsboro Rescue Squad Ambulance Involved in Accident on Ridge Road Sunday

Minor injuries were suffered during collision with parked car.

An ambulance from Plainsboro was heavily damaged in a traffic accident Sunday morning on Ridge Road.

At 10:47 a.m., the Plainsboro Rescue Squad was responding to a mutual aid call in South Brunswick. According to South Brunswick Police, the driver of the ambulance lost control of the vehicle in the area of Ridge Road and Wexford Drive.

The ambulance left the roadway before it struck a parked car, which caused extensive damage to both vehicles, according to police.

The rescue squad members suffered minor injuries in the collision. The accident is under investigation by South Brunswick Police.
