The victims were not known to Weeks through the North Brunswick schools and the charges do not stem from his duties at the high school. He was suspended from his job following his arrest.

During the investigation, it was determined that Weeks sexually assaulted the 15-year-old girl on numerous occasions between January 2011, and the summer of 2011, and sexually assaulted the 6-year-old girl on April 28.

The investigation began after the mother of one of the victims contacted police. Weeks is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in North Brunswick on $300,000 bail set by Superior Court Judge Vincent LeBlon.

Anyone with information on these or similar incidents is asked to call Investigator Maroccia or Investigator Capraru of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office at 732-745-3600, or Detective Jones of the North Brunswick Police Department at 732-545-3200.

As is the case with all criminal defendants, the charges against Weeks are merely accusations and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
