Train Service Disrupted Following Pedestrian Strike

A pedestrian was hit by an Amtrak train at 3:30 p.m. Monday, causing train service to be disrupted at Metropark.

All train service at Metropark has been disrupted after a pedestrian was struck by an Amtrak train, according to NJ.com.

According to the report, the pedestrian was hit by a train at 3:30 p.m. Monday by am Amtrak train carrying 206 passengers.

According to the NJ Transit website, all service on the Northeast Corridor line is suspended between Metropark and Trenton due to the fatality.
