Man Shot, Killed by Police During Standoff in Dayton

Possible domestic issue escalated into fatal shooting by police.

Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting in Dayton Wednesday evening, according to News 12 New Jersey.

A man was shot and killed by police at around 10 p.m. last night following a possible domestic issue that escalated into a standoff, according to the News 12 report. The incident occurred on Hannah Drive near Von Thun's Country Farm Market, after the Middlesex County SWAT team was called to the scene, according to police.

No further information was immediately available from police, who referred the matter to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.
