A male victim is in critical condition Wednesday morning after his vehicle struck a dump truck on Route 1.

The accident was reported at 6:07 a.m. this morning. Police said a man driving north on Route 1 in a 2004 Kia Sportage struck the rear of dump truck between Independence Way and Ridge Road.
