Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Blaze at Blossom Circle Townhouse Thursday Night

Home left uninhabitable following fire at 815 Blossom Circle.

Firefighters quickly exthinguished at late evening blaze at a Blossom Circle residence Thursday evening, that left the home uninhabitable.

At 11:15 p.m. last night, South Brunswick Police received a call reporting a working structure fire at 815 Blossom Circle. Upon arrival at the site of the fire, first responders found the residents of the home had evacuated, along with the rest of the residents of the townhouse building.

The fire was quickly extinguished by the Monmouth Junction, Kendall Park and Kingston Volunteer Fire Departments. The fire was largely contained to one of the residence's bedrooms by the home's sprinkler system.

The fire is currently under investigation by the South Brunswick Fire Marshal. The Monmouth Junction First Aid squad also responded to the call. There were no injuries reported. The family is staying with relatives in the area, according to police.
