DWI Charge For South Brunswick Woman After Allegedly Crashing Into Parked Cars

A South Brunswick woman was charged Sunday with drunk driving after allegedly crashing into two parked cars, police said.

On Sunday at 1:35 a.m., Julie Shuster, 26, was was driving her 2005 Ford east on Stillwell Road when she struck the rear of a parked 2011 Mitsubishi, police said.

She then crossed the road and struck a parked 1992 Honda Accord head on, police said.

All three vehicles appeared to be totaled as a result of the crash. An investigation by Officer Bryan Sites determined Shuster had been drinking prior to the crash.

She was arrested, processed and charged with driving while intoxicated along with several motor vehicle summonses. She was released pending her first court appearance.
