Christmas Presents Stolen During Holiday Burglaries

Break-ins reported on Raleigh Road and Henderson Road.

Police are on the hunt for burglars who stole jewelry, electronics and Christmas presents from a township home Friday evening.

The first break-in occurred on Raleigh Road between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. The suspects cut a screen on a front window and then pried open the lock to gain entry into the residence. The burglars made off with jewelry, several Christmas presents and electronics, police said.

In another incident on Henderson Road, the suspect broke in through a rear basement window shortly before 6:30 p.m. The suspect attempted to go up to the first floor of the home from the basement, but the door was locked and the residents were home at the time, police said.
