Sixth Grade Girl Vikings are Champions!!!

The South Brunswick 6th grade girls' basketball team completed their Monroe Sports Center spring season with a 10-0 record and a championship win against a competitive North Hanover team on Friday, June 27, 2014.  The team coached by Sid Coleman jumped out to an early lead.  However, by half time they found themselves down by one point.  After halftime, the team came out with good energy, but still found themselves down by double digits.  The girls regrouped and played exceptional defense the rest of the way and the final result was an undefeated season and a final score 37-35.  The team is comprised of South Brunswick residents from fifth to seventh grades.  These girls earned their summer breaks.
