Hugs for Brady and the Somerset Patriots owner Steve Kalafer give 3 boys with cancer a day to remember forever!
In one’s lifetime maybe you are blessed to meet a couple of people who you are just overwhelmed by, that one person for me is Steve Kalafer. I am truly blessed to know him.
At the recent Hugs for Brady Night at the Ball Park, Steve was so moved by our 3 young cancer warriors, that he invited them as his guest to a day at Yankee Stadium. Well, it’s one thing to throw out the first pitch at the TD Bank Ball Park but it’s certainly another to stand behind home plate at Yankee Stadium, meet Joe Girardi and Mariano Rivera. Not to mention, have you and your Dad’s photos up on the BIG screen in center field. WOW, WOW, WOW is all I can say and that’s from a diehard Red Sox fan.

Steve, you have always been my idol for so many reasons but this time, your generosity, compassion and genuine love has set a whole new standard.
