Sunday marks the one-year anniversary of the storm that devastated South Brunswick.

Sunday marks the first anniversary of the violent storm that left half of South Brunswick without power, pulled thousands of trees from their roots, flooded roads, and decimated homes and businesses.

While Irene blew through South Brunswick and central Jersey, South Brunswick Patch was there to cover a hurricane that, despite a devastating aftermath, was downgraded to a tropical storm.
