Letter: Thanking South Brunswick for Holiday Food Drive

LouAnne Wolf, Director of Social Services

I would like to thank our wonderful community of South Brunswick for their generosity during our most recent food drive for the Thanksgiving holiday. This was our largest food drive, helping 137 families with children and 96 families without children.

Although we ran low on food at one point, our South Brunswick residents once again came through and as we begin preparing for the Christmas packages, we have a full pantry. We expect it to get us started and will again need more food, but as of now, we have many food drives scheduled through all of our schools in town and many different businesses, houses of worship and individuals continue to donate.

We are truly blessed and appreciate everyone's generosity. It is a wonderful feeling knowing those less fortunate in our town will not go hungry during the holidays.
