SBPAL Thanks Viking Families for Successful Food Drive

SBPAL Season-Opener and Successful Food Drive

SBPAL had a very successful season-opener this weekend!  The football players played great, and the cheerleaders definitely helped get the already upbeat crowd into the action-packed games, according to SBPAL Board Members.

In addition, they would like to sincerely thank the SBPAL Viking families and community members who contributed to their food drive.  In total, they collected 261 items and almost $40 cash.  All donations were delivered to the South Brunswick Food Pantry on Monday, which in recent weeks has been desperately seeking replenishment of its dire food supplies.

SBPAL officials would especially like to thank Cheer Director JoAnn Campisano  and her son Joey, for manning the donation table, and Catherine Oliver, Asst. Cheer Coach of the Mitey Mites Squad and her family, for initiating this fabulous drive and coordinating collection and drop-off of the goods.
