This is a free admission event.

The Halloween Event was a huge success last year, with over 600 township residents attending. The event occurred the day after the fluke Halloween snow storm in 2011.

"The only drawback was that it got crowded," said Suzanne O’Rourke, owner of LocalChatBox.com, an online web site for Central NJ that offers consumers a local business directory, printable coupons, ratings/reviews and local event listings. "In order to eliminate the crowd staying until the end, we will not have a tricky tray this year. Rather prizes will be given away at each table and the winner will be contacted. This way consumers can come and stay, but dont feel that they have to stay until the end of the event.

“It’s a great community event, with tons of candy for the trick or treaters, and being that its indoors its a fun way to trick or treat. There are lots of activities for the kids and the parents can learn more about some of our local businesses.”
