Experience a new sport each week of the program, with Sports Squirts. Wednesday

South Brunswick PAL Travel Basketball Tryouts, Crossroads North Middle School, 635 Georges Rd, Monmouth Junction, 6:30 p.m.

SB PAL Travel Basketball Tryouts for boys and girls in the 4th through 8th grade.

Raising Financially Responsible Children, South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 7 p.m.

This is a comprehensive seminar designed for parents on how to teach your children to have good spending and saving habits. The program, "It's Common Cent$: Money Tips and Tools for Kids and their Parents," is a tool that was developed by Neil Godfrey. Andrew Brothers, an agent with New York Life's Edison Office, will present this free program for parents. A complementary workbook will be given to those who attend the program; please bring a notepad and pen to take notes so that you are prepared to give your children an economic edge.

Bon Appetit for the Spirit, South Brunswick Senior Center, 540 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, 10:30 a.m.

The South Brunswick Office on Aging is offering a weekly book club entitled Bon Appétit for the Spirit. This group utilizes literature as a catalyst to discuss personal issues/thoughts/concerns with each other.  Past books included ‘The Kite Runner’, My Sisters Keeper, The Ice Castle, The Help and many more. This group is always open to new participants.  We meet most Thursdays at 10:30. Open to S. Brunswick seniors 55+. Please call Caryl if you have questions at 732 329 4000 ext. 7212. 

Pack 98 Parents & Den Leaders Meeting, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9111, 11 Henderson Rd, Kendall Park, 7:15 p.m.

Monthlly meeting of Den Leaders and parents Of Cub Scout Pack 98 All are welcome. If you son is interesting in joining Scouts this is a great place to start.
