Car show for Child Battling Cancer

A car show will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 10:00 A.M – 5:00 P.M. at the Sayreville War Memorial High School at 820 Washington Road, Parlin, NJ 08859.

This is a charity event is to help 9-year-old Daniel Zawaski out, he had brain stem surgery to remove a tumor on January 31, 2011 at Morristown Children Hospital.  Daniel has the long road of recovery to go through, he has to learn how to walk and talk again. The Charity name for the show is RJC Charity Inc. we are a registered 501C3 nonprofit organization.

The event will be in the west wing of the parking lot of the high school. The attending car clubs will bring their cars for display; currently we have commitments from the Garden State Vintage Stock Car Club, and The GTO Car Club of New Jersey, a few Wall Stadium and New Egypt cars. We are still in the process of getting more car clubs to attend to this event.

We had received gift certificates from restaurants, and items from auto shops to be raffled off.

We're not charging admission, but every car that is registered for the show there is a $10 fee for early registration and a $15 the day of the show.

Were still in the process of collecting items, and towards the end of the car show we plan on doing a balloon signing. Basically meaning, everyone who participated, and anyone that would like to purchase a balloon from us, we are going to sign the balloons, and let them go as a prayer to help Daniel out. The Sayreville Auto Club part of the Sayreville Auto Shop will be there as well and are a major sponsor of the show along with RJC HOME REMODELING.

Currently we are estimating 600 to 800 people attending.
