2012 Step Up for The Arc Walkathon

The 2012 Step Up for The Arc Walkathon takes place at Roosevelt Park in Edison.  The Walkathon is an annual fundraiser in support of The Arc Middlesex County.  This event is always a family friendly event featuring breakfast donated by the 12th Masonic District, activities, games, a DJ and a raffle featuing items donated by individuals and businesses in the community.  Sparkee from the Somerset Patriots and Cha Cha from the Rainforest Cafe will also be making an appearance at the Walk.

Registration for this event begins at 9am.  The Walk will begin at 10:15am. The raffle tickets will be drawn around 11am.  Registration for this event is free, but a contribution of $20.00 will entitle you to a t-shirt and goody bag.  All proceeds from this event will benefit programming and services for individuals with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities. 

The Arc Middlesex County, a non-profit, 501c3 Agency, provides people with developmental and other disabilities, and their families, with supports and services which encourage personal growth and quality of life through empowerment and choice.  This organization which has served the community for over 60 years, started as a grassroots effort by families. Today we serve over 400 individuals and their famillies through our residential, vocational and family support programs.
