former East Brunswick High School orchestra teacher Jerry Kupchynsky,
known as Mr. K. Join the co-authors, EBHS grads Joanne Lipman and Mr.
K’s daughter, Melanie Kupchynsky, in a multimedia tribute to this
remarkable teacher. The book brings to life the power of music and the
lasting influence of the great mentors in our lives. Find out the
events that shaped Mr. K’s life and how he impacted the lives of his
students as he imparted lessons in resilience and excellence while
practicing the fine art of tough love. Co-author Melanie Kupchynsky, a
violinist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, will perform several
pieces that play a role in the book. FREE.
