Education Foundation of South Brunswick - "A Taste for Education" Gala Fundraiser

The
Education Foundation of South Brunswick Township, Inc.

announces its fourth annual,



  “A Taste for EDUCATION”
gala fundraiser will be held on Monday, October 28th from 6:00 - 9:00pm. 
This event will be held at the Princeton Ballroom, Doubletree Hotel Princeton,
4355 US Route 1 at Ridge Road.  The event provides attendees a chance to
sample food from some of Central New Jersey's best local restaurants, caterers,
and wineries, and participate in silent auctions and raffles benefitting the Foundation.
Proceeds from “A Taste for EDUCATION” will support programs to enhance
learning experiences of students and effectiveness of teachers in South
Brunswick Township. 



Tickets for the October 28th event are $50 and are

During this year’s event, The Education Foundation of
South Brunswick will again honor the recipients of the second annual, South
Brunswick High School Distinguished Alumni Award.  Last year’s inaugural recipients included: David
Bianchi, Gregory Halili, Stephen Portnoy and Anna Quindlen. The award is
designed to recognize notable South Brunswick alumni who have contributed to
society in an exemplary manner, and in doing so, have brought honor to the
South Brunswick School District.  Application forms
for nominations for this year’s award are available on The Education
Foundation of South Brunswick’s
website and at the South Brunswick Public
Library.



The Education Foundation of South Brunswick
Township, Inc.
is an independent, non-profit 501 (c)(3)
organization that will fund programs that benefit South Brunswick public school
students. The foundation looks to foster educational opportunities, creativity,
and achievement in the South Brunswick Public Schools by providing funding for
grants of student programs, innovative professional development opportunities
for staff and student scholarships by generating corporate and private
financial support and encouraging volunteer time.
