Turnpike South Closed at 8A
An accident at just before 3 p.m. has shut down the highway going south. Expect delays.
All southbound lanes on the NJ Turnpike are closed just north of Exit 8A following an accident at 2:58 p.m.
According to the NJ Turnpike, an accident with injuries on the highway’s outer, southbound roadway took place just north of the exit.
Heavy traffic is expected on Route 130, Route 32 and Route 535 in the area of the NJ Turnpike entrance and drivers are being advised to plan an alternate route.
