Township Brief: New Senior Citizen Shuttle Bus Service in South Brunswick

Service will allow seniors to link up with the Middlesex County M-1 shuttle, which takes passengers to New Brunswick and North Brunswick locations.

On Dec. 6, the South Brunswick Transportation Department will begin new shuttle service to the Stop & Shop on Route 522 and Summerfield Boulevard. The shuttle service will be done every Tuesday at 11 a.m. It will allow seniors to link up with the Middlesex County M-1 shuttle. The M-1 shuttle takes passengers to New Brunswick and North Brunswick locations, including the New Brunswick train station and Walmart.

Buses will leave from the Senior Center 11:00 a.m. and riders will be able to pick up the 11:20 a.m. Middlesex County M-1 shuttle. The South Brunswick Transportation shuttle service will pick up at Stop & Shop at 2:30 p.m. and drop back off at the Senior Center.

YOU MUST BE SIGNED UP WITH THE SENIOR CENTER AND SCHEDULED FOR REGULAR SENIOR CENTER TRANSPORTATION TO BOARD THE BUS. Buses will be transporting to and from the Senior Center only.
