The South Brunswick Township Council will hold the first work session of 2012. Discussions include a water issue at the VFW. Check the township web site for the agenda.

The South Brunswick Senior Center is offering Feldenkrais workshops for seniors ages 55 and up, led by instructor Nancy Bruneau. This program is designed to help participants move more and have less pain.

Wednesday

Local seniors ages 55 and up. can call transportation to sign up for a free trip to the Quakerbridge Mall. The bus leaves from the Senior Center.

Thursday

3424 Route 27, Kendall Park, 10:30 a.m.

The South Brunswick Health Department in partnership with South Brunswick Development Corp. is sponsoring a health education program “Preparing for Emergencies."  

Nancy MacKay, RN, MSN, Public Health Nurse Administrator from the South Brunswick Health Department and an Officer from the South Brunswick Police Department will discuss strategies to prepare you for sheltering and other public health emergencies.

Event will be held January 12, 2012 at 10:30 am in the Charleston Place Community Room at 3424 Rt. 27, Kendall Park, NJ.  A free door prize will be given.  For further information call Nancy MacKay at 732-329-4000 ext. 7258 or Anne Marie Nystrom at 732-951-1700.  All are welcome.
