The Township Council will continue ongoing meetings with department directors in an attempt to reduce this year's municipal budget. The budget meeting will be followed by the council's regular meeting at 7:30 p.m.

Career Counselor Eileen Levine will host this free two-day workshop for military veterans returning to the workforce at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 13 and 14 at the South Brunswick Public Library. Registration required. Attend both days; bring paper and pen. Intended for veterans, but open to general public. 

Wednesday

6 Heathcote Rd, Kingston, 7:30 p.m.

Jim Waltman, Executive Director of the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association, will speak about what we can do to reduce flooding and flood damage in future storms through changes in mindset, behaviors, and policies.

Thursday

12 Stults Rd, Dayton, 6 p.m.

Each Open House features live music, all The Grape Escape wines plus a different restaurant will be featuring their appetizers at each Open House. Come see what everyone is talking about. The Grape Escape is a working winery that invites you participate in the winemaking process. You crush, press, bottle and custom label your own wine.In the Spring, we import grapes from Chile and Argentina while in the Fall we ship grapes from Napa, Sonoma and Amador. The free open houses are a great way to enjoy food and wine and to learn about how The Grape Escape program works. They will be giving away one case of their three-year TGE Blend Reserve (12 bottles) of wine, that's a $200 value. No need for reservations and the Open House is free, just bring your friends and enjoy yourself.
