The Week Ahead in South Brunswick

Monday

, 124 New Rd, Monmouth Junction, 4:45 p.m.  The 8-week after-school program entitled, "Acting for Fun" will be led by Jean Prall Rosolino, Founder of Youth Stages LLC, in Princeton. It includes two 45 minute after-school classes, one for children 7-12 years followed by a second class for youth ages 13-21. Jean Prall Rosolino, who holds an MA in Educational Theater from NYU, has extensive teaching experience in creative dramatics for both children and adults with or without disabilities. She has taught for both Mercer County Office for the Disabled and for VSA Arts of NJ for over 20 years. She has also served as a consultant in drama for the VSA Arts Festivals at Middlesex County College.

, 635 Georges Rd, Monmouth Junction, 7:30 p.m. The board will hold a work session on Monday night at the third BOE meeting of the new school year.

Tuesday

, 540 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, 7:30 p.m. The council will hold a work session to discuss the Freedom Trail bike path and improvements to the Wetherill House and Environmental Center.

Wednesday

, 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 6:45 p.m. The South Brunswick Camera Club, sponsored by the South Brunswick Art Commission, meets monthly in the Meeting Room in the library on the first Wednesday of every month. 

Thursday

 Sir John's Restaurant on the banks of Farrington Lake, 230 Washington Pl, North Brunswick. Featuring award-winning mystery author Chirs Grabenstein. Tickets cost $50 and can be purchased at the library or online at www.sbpl.info/foundation/tickets.htm.
