, , 540 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, 10 a.m. Do you have old gold sitting in your jewelry box? An unwanted bracelet? A mismatched earring? Bring them to the South Brunswick Township Senior Center for a fall fundraiser. A professional appraiser and buyer from Gold Gives Back (GGB) will be at the South Brunswick Township Senior Center, 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction on Monday, October 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The appraiser will test gold for karat purity, then weigh and appraise the items, using the rates listed on the previous day’s closing of the New York Gold Market. Appraisals are free and clients are under no obligation to sell. A donation from refining the gold is donated to the center. This does not affect the seller’s price. GGB is registered in New Jersey. You must call the Senior Center to register at 732-329-4000 ext. 7670.

, , 4355 Us Highway 1, Princeton, 7:30 a.m. Visitor’s Day of the “Referral Magnets” chapter of BNI where they will be sharing the BNI secrets to success through “word-of- mouth” marketing. Continental Breakfast will se served and their will be door prizes. BNI is a business and professional organization whose primary purpose is to exchange qualified business referrals.  It is the largest networking organization of its kind with over 3,400 chapters internationally. BNI is unique in that it allows only one person per profession to be a member in each chapter; thus, once you have been accepted, none of your competitors can participate. The “Referral Magnets” Chapter is currently looking for various companies to whom they can refer business.  Learn more about the organization, our chapter and find out if you would be interested in generating a steady source of referral business for yourself. The cost of the meeting is $10 per person.

, , 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction 4:30 p.m. For grades K-3, event featues great books and fun activities for kids. Friends in early elementary school are welcome to come participate in this storytime.

Thursday

, , 540 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, noon. Enjoy dancing to your favorite songs. DJ's Mike and Kathy will spin your tunes. Bring a dessert and share your recipe. This party is open to South Brunswick residents 55 and over. For reservations or more information please call 732-329-4000, ext. 7670.
