Temperatures Expected to Soar This Weekend

An excessive heat warning has been issued for Central and Southern New Jersey beginning Friday at noon.

The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning Central and Southern New Jersey from noon on Friday until 8 p.m. on Sunday. 

The weather forecast calls for today, Thursday, to be sunny, with a high near 90 degrees. Overnight there will be a chance of rain and thunderstorms. 

Temperatures are expected to soar to a high of 97 degrees on Friday and Saturday and there will be intermittent chances of rain and thunderstorms. Sunday is expected to be partly sunny with the high near 94 degrees.
