Indik Awards

Each year, the Citizens for Independent Living honors two South Brunswick residents with the Barry Indik Memorial Award to honor outstanding service and commitment to the community. This year's honors go to Ellen Gambatese for her extensive volunteer work in South Brunswick, and CIL member Jamie Rainey, a woman with a developmental disability who volunteers for the Monmouth Junction First Aid Squad and helps local senior citizens.

Wetherill Improvements

The South Brunswick Township Council is moving forward with a $20,000 improvement project on the historical 150-year-old Dayton home. The improvements to the Environmental Center on the South Brunswick-Princeton border remains up in the air.

The third annual "Walk for Diane" will be held on Oct. 23, in honor of Diane Goodwin, who died in August 2009 after a 16-year battle with breast cancer.
