South Brunswick Senior Center Seeks Volunteer Door Greeter

Duties include greeting seniors upon their arrival, assisting seniors in scanning in on the computer, punching class cards, and directing the public to the offices

The South Brunswick Senior Center is looking for a volunteer door greeter beginning Sept 4. 

Interested parties need to be a people person with three to four hours at least once a week available. This is an important position as you are the first person people come in contact with when coming to the senior center.

Duties include greeting seniors upon their arrival, assisting seniors in scanning in on the computer, punching class cards, directing the public to the offices, etc.

Over the summer, high school students have filled this position but come September the center is looking for new volunteers as the students return to school. 

The days/times needed starting Sept. 4 are Monday 8:30 a.m. to noon, Mondays noon to 3 p.m., Tuesdays 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesdays 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursdays 8:30 a.m. to noon, Thursdays noon to 3 p.m., or Fridays 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
