Help the South Brunswick Food Pantry with American Legion Post 401’s Food Drive

The South Brunswick Food Pantry has seen its food supply dwindle to alarmingly low levels.

American Legion Post 401’s annual food drive in support of the will begin Nov. 1.

Area residents may drop off their non-perishable food donations at the American Legion Post Home, 148 Major Rd., Monmouth Junction, anytime after 1 p.m., 7 days a week.

“The food bank has a dire need for staples,” said Gary Cooper, Post 401 commander, “and they are out of many items. Last year our members, post visitors and residents were very generous during our food drive. This year we hope they will give even more because the need is greater.”
