The festival is centered around Pick-Your-Own strawberries, but there will also be strawberry foods, with jams and jellies, vendors, hayrides, and activities for the kids. The Von Thun greenhouses will be open with a selection of annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs and hanging baskets. The farm market will also be open for the season with fresh produce. Activities include meeting friendly farm animals, an interactive Agricultural Education center, Peter the talking pumpkin, a Barnyard Chicken Show, pony rides, pedal courses, sand and candy arts, rubber duck races, face painting, a straw maze, hayrides, and more.

The 15th Annual Pedals for Progress Used Bike and Sewing Machine Collection, sponsored by the South Brunswick Education Association, is looking for donations of used bikes and sewing machines.  Items do not have to be in perfect condition, but should be rust-free.  

32 Heathcote Rd, Princeton, 2 p.m.

Trails Day efforts will focus on the boardwalk in the Cook Natural Area.  The main task will be to stack the boardwalk sections that washed away during last year’s floods, and pry up the ones that are embedded, in preparation for major repairs to be undertaken later this year. KGA provides gloves and tools.  Sturdy, waterproof footwear is advised. Join Willows from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on June 2 and June 10 to see the Swim Club and what they have to offer you and your family. Memberships are available for the 2012 Summer Season.

Garage sale with tons of baby and kid stuff, clothes, and much more. Refreshments will be available.  No early birds, please.

Hosted by Family Karate Super Center will include many of your favorite vendors under one roof. Pampered Chef, Party Lite, Barefoot Books, Tupperware, Stampin' Up, Tastefully Simple, Premier Designs, Mary Kay, Longaberger, Take 2 Designs, 31 Bags, as well as ATT and Macys. There will also be palm readings, numerology and reiki. Many raffle items and door prizes will be available. A $5 donation includes refreshments and a raffle ticket. Event benefits the Day by Day Hope Foundation to assist families battling cancer.

Continuing Cultural Conversations will present a lecture at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 3 at the South Brunswick Public Library. The lecture Protocols for Meeting with People from Other Countries will be given by Joan Brown and Beth Hoke.  This program will be repeated on June 4 at the South Brunswick Senior Center.  Provided by the Aging in Place Partnership in partnership with the South Brunswick Public Library.
