A hands-on class on Microsoft Excel 2002 being offered by local Ed Tech Specialist, Lauriene Tschang. This is a two-session course being offered on Saturday morning July 14 and 28, starting at 10:15 a.m. You must complete the class on July 14 to attend the class on July 28. Seating is limited; registration is required.

Have you caught Hunger Games fever yet?  Then join the library to pay tribute to the books and the movie with challenges both physical and mental. See how well you would do if your name were called in the lottery. They'll also be choosing districts, and making costumes for a tribute parade, so don't miss out. There will be prizes and food courtesy of Friends of the Library.

Rutgers Master Gardeners of Middlesex County invite the public to visit their Butterfly House at the EARTH Center in Davidson’s Mill Pond Park, 42 Riva Avenue, South Brunswick, NJ. It will be open for the public's enjoyment every Saturday in June, July and August from 10 a.m. to noon. The butterfly house can be educational and fun for the entire family. Expanded in the 2011, the “hoop house” is filled with plants that feed and shelter butterflies and larvae native to New Jersey. The enclosed conditions allow visitors to take an up close look at these showy insects, learn more about their host plants and attract them to the home garden. Interested children will be armed with nets and invited to capture more butterflies for the house. There is no charge, unless you wish to make a donation.

The library will continue its International Film Festival this summer partnering with other libraries in Middlesex County. The films are current, critically aclaimed films from the world cinema. Most films are shown in the original language with English subtitles. "Laila's Birthday" - July 15 at 2 p.m., July 18 at 6:30 p.m.
