$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold in South Brunswick Still Unclaimed

Winner has until May 17 to claim prize.

Are you holding a golden ticket without even knowing it?

New Jersey Lottery officials said a winning $1 million Powerball ticket sold at the Stop & Shop on Route 522 and Summerfield Boulevard in South Brunswick will expire next month, according to WABC.

The ticket, purchased on May 16, 2012, has the numbers of 3, 7, 21, 28 and 43, with the Red Ball number of 2, according to the report. If the Powerball prize isn't claimed by May 17, the ticket will expire.

To file a claim, the ticketholder must sign the ticket and contact state lottery headquarters or a lottery retailer for validation.

If the prize goes unclaimed, the $1 million could be used for future lottery prizes or state contributions, according to ABC.
