Charter Schools In South Brunswick

I will state my personal opinion on the matter.  There are MANY school districts where the Public School system is failing. It's failing because the staff isn't performing, the children aren't committed, and the economics aren't available. If you look at the standard test scores in some districts vs. the state or national averages, there are school districts that are failing.....way below the line.

In the townships that this proposed Charter School would be feeding from, this is not even close to being the case. This isn't failure to deliver the education that gets individuals on to a standard opportunity for higher education. This is about an individual interest of development based on background. That makes it a Private interest, not public. Charter Schools were founded to raise the level of opportunity in areas where general performance can't be achieved without uprooting and relocation. Let's face it....... some school districts just won't get to the level of average standard performance. This is exploiting that to a singular interest that is based on a private value. Therefore, it's no different than wanting to send your kid to a private school. Why public tax dollars should be used to fund that is a mystery to me. If I want that value, it's my responsibility to fund it. Not everyone based on the area they live in.
