One of the best things about DOQ is they do not only teach your children how to dance. They teach them self confidence, life lessons, importance of education, body awareness, self esteem, community service, responsibility and so much more! From Maria the Director who is hands on with each student to every other teacher and staff member is an important part of their journey. They bring out each child's passion to dance.

Dance on Q fan Yvette Williams wrote:

Dance on Q is by far the best activity in my son's life right now. He started dancing when he was 7 and he is now 11. He was one of the first boys in their hip hop class and they now have co-ed classes as well as all boys classes. He gets such an excitement out of going to class. The lessons they teach not only show them how to dance properly but also help them with everyday lessons.

Readers also came out in force to express their support for , located at 4437 Route 27. The school picked up over 700 votes in the poll.

Just Dance fan Kate wrote:

At Just Dance students learn to dance and respect each other. They are the ones who come home and say I cant wait for class. They have fun and thats what it is all about.

Reader Beth Mitchell wrote:

Both of our girls love Just Dance. The teachers really know their stuff but its not all exercises. They teach with a sense of fun that is infectious and keeps the kids enjoying it.

The , located at 401 Ridge Road in Dayton, also had a number of positive comments. Reader Alissa M wrote:

ABA is the perfect dance school experience. I know, having been to two disappointing dance schools before I joined ABA in their first year. They have a spot for everyone of every age. Michelle cares about every single student. I just wanted to dance, even though I wasn't competition material. I just loved to dance. I was always treated and felt just as valued to ABA as the top VDC (the competition team) members.

Honestly, I don't know what I would do without American Ballet Academy. I've been there since the studio opened, coming from another studio before, and I can honestly say I am the dancer I am today because of ABA. It really can't be considered a studio but a family would be a better term for it. Everyone there, competition team or recreational, is treated equally and the teachers care for each one of their students as much as they care for their families. They build such a great relationship with each and every student and we can always count on them to be there for us when we need them to.

Readers also showed their love for Dance Storm International, located 3391 Route 27. Dance Storm fan alice wrote:

Miss Lysette at Dance Storm is phenomenal. My daughters have learned so much in the short time they have been going there. She does not FOCUS on TEAM DANCERS, but instead loves and instructs each child equally that walks through her doors.

Editor's note: Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results, comments and ratings and reviews on Patch Places.
