The pizza cone is coming to America's shores, direct from Italy to Edison, New Jersey, nj.com reports.
KONO Pizza opened at 775 Route 1 South in Edison in August. KONO has 130 locations worldwide and is set to open locations in North Carolina, New York and California early next year, according to the report.
The pizza cone is inspired by Italian chef Rossano Boscolo, and uses a thinner crust and moister cheese to create a healthier pizza option, according to the report.
