New 'Dining Pavilion' Announced for Quaker Bridge Mall

Five new eateries - Charley's Grilled Subs, Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs, Subway, Sarku Japan and Master Wok - will open this spring at the mall on Route 1.

Charley’s Grilled Subs, Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs, Subway, Sarku Japan and Master Wok will be first tenants to move into Quaker Bridge Mall’s new eight-unit dining pavilion, the mall’s owner, Indiana-based Simon Property Group, announced Tuesday

The eateries are expected to open this spring in the new dining pavilion, located on the upper level in the wing of the mall that is home to the Sears department store.

In addition to new restrooms, a family restroom with a nursing lounge and a Kidgits play area, the dining pavilion will feature other amenities that include “soft” seating, skylights, and new ceilings, finishes and lighting.

“With the addition of these new dining experiences, shoppers now have a far greater variety of options,” said Marian Kapp, director of mall marketing. “Whether a customer is looking for a deli sandwich or international fare, it can now be found on our property in the new dining pavilion.”

Charley’s Grilled Subs offers fresh grilled subs, salads, and Philly cheesesteaks; Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs serves up the company’s signature hot dogs, as well as hamburgers, French fries, salads, cheesesteaks and more; and Subway, the world’s largest sub chain, offers customers a number of healthy menu items along with the option of creating custom sandwiches.

A quick-service Japanese restaurant, Sarku Japan offers made-to-order teriyaki and sushi dishes, while Master Wok served “gourmet” Chinese food.

Quaker Bridge Mall, now in the final stages of a major facelift, already is home to The Cheesecake Factory. Another upscale restaurant, Brio Tuscan Grille, has been granted construction approval by the Lawrence Township Planning Board and could be serving up its Italian dishes by the end of this year.
