Jackpot! Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in South Brunswick

One of three winning Powerball tickets for $448 million prize sold at Stop & Shop on Route 522.

The Stop & Shop on Route 522 and Summerfield Boulevard in South Brunswick is proving to be quite the lucky charm.

The store sold one of three winning Powerball lottery tickets to split the latest jackpot of $448 million, according to the Huffington Post. The other winning tickets were sold Little Egg Harbor, NJ, and Minnesota.

The winning numbers in the drawing Wednesday night were 05, 25, 30, 58, 59 and Powerball 32.

This was the second time a winning Powerball ticket was sold at the Stop & Shop on Summerfield Boulevard. A ticket purchased on May 16, 2012 was a $1 million winner, but strangely the prize was never claimed and the ticket expired after one year.
