Rescheduled Skull Riders Halloween event to raise money for an ill South Brunswick child highlights weekend events in and around South Brunswick.

Friday

7th Grade Kickoff, YMCA, 329 Culver Rd, Monmouth Junction, 6 p.m.

A 7th grade initiative Kickoff Party. Come Friday to learn more about the Y and everything they have to offer you. Bring at least one guardian Friday night to sign the necessary paperwork for you to receive your free 7th Grade Membership. Family Fun Night Fundraiser to Support Shore Relief277 Washington Pl, North Brunswick, 7:30 p.m.

Please join North Brunswick Cub Scout Pack 81 for a Family Fun Night Fundraiser. There will be Bingo , 50/50 raffles, kids crafts and a bake sale all with proceeds benefiting relief efforts for the Jersey Shore. Cost of admission is a non-perishable food item.

Dance Workshop, YMCA, 329 Culver Rd, Monmouth Junction, 1 p.m.

A Dance Workshop from 1 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. hosted by the West Chester University Dance Team. For ages 7-years-old and up. Open to all levels of dance experience in Hip Hop, Jazz, and Ballet.  VFW Post 9111, 11 Henderson Road, Kendall Park, 5 p.m.

The rescheduled Halloween run will take place on Saturday (Nov. 10) with registration starting at 5 p.m. at VFW Post 9111 at 11 Henderson Road. The event will include door prizes, food, and raffles. The bike run will begin at 6:30 p.m. The cost per rider is $20 and the cost per passenger is $10. An after party will be held at the VFW from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. with live music, food, door prizes and a raffle. A $15 donation is required for the after party only. If the riding conditions are poor, then the event will solely be held at the VFW to raise money for Ray Fantel, a 4-year-old South Brunswick child diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).
