Wednesday Wisdom: At the Movies: You Can't Take it With You

Wednesday Wisdom: Classic Film Series. In 2011, we will continue to show movies on the fourth Wednesdays of every month. The films that we will be presenting will be "classics" and we will include films of some of the plays that we reviewed in 2010 in our Playwrights and their Plays series if available.

"You Can’t Take it with You" is Frank Capra's 1939 film, based on the play by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. Starring James Stewart, Jean Arthur, Lionel Barrymore, Edward Arnold and Ann Miller. Comedy in which the daughter of an eccentric family falls for the son of a wealthy New York family.
