It's Time to Interview/Audition for JCC Maccabi ArtsFest!

JCC MetroWest is looking for Jewish artists, ages 13-16 as of 7/31/12, to participate in the JCC MetroWest Delegation to JCC Maccabi ArtsFest in the following disciplines: Acting/Improv, Rock Music, Jazz Ensemble, Dance, Visual Arts, Creative Writing, Musical Theater, Vocal Music, and Culinary Arts.

Maccabi ArtsFest is designed to inspire Jewish teens through a dynamic combination of workshop, performance, exhibition, community service, and social activities to develop their individuality through the medium of artistic expression while strengthening their bonds to their Jewish heritage, community, and Israel. 2012 ArtsFest will be held in Houston, Texas on Sunday, August 5- Friday, August 10.

Teens from MetroWest will meet and work with teens from all over the world.  To join the JCC MetroWest Delegation, teens must call for an interview/audition based on the art specialty in which they would like to participate. A proficient level of experience is required. During the week away, teens work together with an artist-in-residence in their specialty to create art for the collaborative final performance and gallery show.
