Wintry Mess on Monday to Make Way for Wet Rest of the Week

Next weekend looks sunny

This week having an umbrella handy will probably be your best bet, according to the forecast from the National Weather Service.

Our area likely will not see much sunshine until at least Thursday, as we start the week with a mix of snow and sleet. The high temperature today will be just 37 degrees which is only slightly warmer than the low of 36. The National Weather Service is predicting less than half an inch of precipitation will fall today.

There is a 30 percent chance of rain on Tuesday but a much warmer day with a high of 50 and a low of 45 called for Tuesday night. The temperature will continue to climb on Wednesday with a high of 59, but a 60 percent chance of showers also in the forecast. The rain will likely continue into Wednesday night as the temperature drops back into the high 30s.
