Where Do You Sled South Brunswick?

Patch is looking for the best spots for some winter fun can be found in South Brunswick.

As if the holiday blizzard wasn't enough, even more snow hit South Brunswick this weekend.  If you're anything like the staff at South Brunswick Patch, you're already sick and tired of shoveling, salting and all the rest of the mess.

So South Brunswick, what do you do for some fun in the snow?  Where are the best spots in town to take advantage of the falling flakes?

The best sledding area we were able to find in town is at .  The Recreation and Parks Department reported that residents were already hitting the hill at Woodlot Park for some snow fun in the early morning the day after the blizzard.

Recreation Supervisor Bonnie Bruccoleri said some older South Brunswick residents told her people used to sled down the hill on Route 1 at Major Road some 50 years ago.  Of course today you would probably be crushed by oncoming traffic if you tried such a thing.

Or if you feel like traveling a bit further there's Thompson Park in Jamesburg and Monroe.
