Veterans Day Ceremony in South Brunswick

Observance ceremony to feature elected officials and South Brunswick High School band.

A Veterans Day Observance Ceremony will be held at the monument in front of the South Brunswick Municipal Building, 540 Ridge Road (Route 522), South Brunswick, on Friday, November 11, at 11 a.m. 

Invited guests include: Frank Gambatese, mayor of South Brunswick, Congressman Rush Holt, Assemblywoman Denise Coyle, Assemblyman Peter Biondi, Senator Christopher Bateman, Chief of Police Ray Hayducka, and Dr. Gary McCartney, Superintendent of Schools.  Rev. John Maltby and Rabbi Mendy Carlebach will offer prayers; the South Brunswick High School Viking Band with Mark and Virginia Kraft will provide the music.   

Veterans from American Legion Post 401 and VFW Post 9111 will present ceremonial wreathes in honor and memory of veterans of all branches of the service.  Refreshments will be served following the ceremony by the host organization, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9111, 11 Henderson Rd., Kendall Park.
