Tour de South Brunswick Kicks off Saturday

Family event offers different categories to suit all types of riders, from pre-school to experienced.

The Tour de South Brunswick bike ride is here just in time for spring.  Join with friends and neighbors on April 30 for The Education Foundation of South Brunswick Township’s first Tour de South Brunswick event.  Check in and walk-up registration begins at 8 a.m. at South Brunswick High School.  At 9 a.m. the bike rides begin.

The Tour is a fun-filled event for families, as well as experienced bike riders, while at the same time supporting South Brunswick Schools through the Education Foundation.

There are five “Tour” categories available to suit all types of riders, from pre-school to experienced.  The Tour de South Brunswick will feature four routes:

  • Youngsters tricycle ride on the South Brunswick High School track. Supervised by Kids!Kids!Kids! students (no pre-registration).
  •  2.5-mile Family Fun Ride - parents and children riding together.
  •  10-mile Fun Ride for the very casual rider through Dayton and Monmouth Junction.
  •  25-mile Tour de South Brunswick riding through virtually the entire township. Rest stop at Davidson Mill Pond Park.
