LaTaverna Gives Back With Your Help, La Taverna, 375 Georges Rd, Dayton, all day, all week.

The owners of LaTaverna Restaurant and Bar wish to help those devastated by Hurricane Sandy. In an effort to do so, for the week of Nov. 19, 10 percent of every check will be donated to “Hurricane Sandy NJ Relief Fund."  The restaurant will be closed on Thanksgiving but will open on Nov. 25. for this fundraiser.  So why don’t you stop in for a cozy meal, relax and help them make a difference.  Every little bit goes a long way.

Robin Kessler, from R & D Internet Associates, will give a seminar on tips and tricks to help you use your iPAD, iPhone, or iPod to its fullest.  You are encouraged to bring your “I’s” to the class. You are also encouraged to take notes whether you bring your devices or not. Registration is suggested but walk-ins are always welcome.

Join FPNL President Karen Linder for a Thanksgiving Day morning exploration of the Mapleton Preserve. Come find out what’s on the menu for Thanksgiving dinner for the animals and birds at Mapleton Preserve, and enjoy the abundance and subtle beauty of late fall. This program will begin at the Main Office for the D&R Canal State Park, 145 Mapleton Road, Kingston. The event is open to all, but preregistration IS requested.
