South Brunswick School District’s Eighth Annual Education Summit, Crossroads North Middle School, 635 Georges Rd, Monmouth Junction, 7 p.m.

The South Brunswick School District’s Eighth Annual Education Summit will be presented to the Community on Monday, February 25, 7:00 p.m., Crossroads North Middle School Auditorium, 635 Georges Road, Monmouth Junction. With the District theme “Success is a Choice” as backdrop, the community will hear stories of success as well as next chapters and the challenges the District will face as they continue to refine student learning and educational programming. The Education Summit will be taped and replayed on VTN ~ Comcast Cable Channel 28 / Verizon FiOS Channel 36.


Adult/Senior Arts Program, YMCA, 329 Culver Rd, Monmouth Junction, 9:15 a.m.

For beginner and intermediate artists. Drawing and painting in Watercolor, Acrylics, Pastels and more.


Read to a Therapy Dog - Group Reading for Children with all abilities (ages 5 and up), South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 6:30 p.m.

Read to a therapy dog, even if you think maybe you don't read that well yet. Our therapy dogs are eager to listen to beginner readers with challenges including autism spectrum disorder. Reading to therapy dogs can help anyone that has difficulty reading to gain confidence and build their literacy skills. 


Bon Appetit for the Spirit, South Brunswick Senior Center, 540 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, 10:30 a.m.

This group utilizes literature as a catalyst to discuss personal issues/thoughts/concerns with each other.  Past books included ‘The Kite Runner’, My Sisters Keeper, The Ice Castle, The Help and many more.


Matt Wong @ Herb Eckert Auditorium, South Brunswick Senior Center, 540 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, 8 p.m.

Matt will appear at the Herb Eckert Auditorium in the South Brunswick Senior Center with the Blue Jersey Band. Doors open: 7:45 p.m. Tickets: $6 at the door. Includes complimentary refreshments.
