Use Google to learn Internet search skills and strategies. Beginning with differentiating between ISP's, browsers and search engines, you will learn the parts of a URL and how to evaluate websites. Then we will explore ways to formulate effective searches. We will also use Find, Print, Google News and Google Images, as well as visit some popularly useful websites, including the Library's. Prerequisite: Basic PC Skills class or equivalent experience using Windows and the mouse.
