,  , 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 1:30 p.m.As part of the library's Novel Destinations Adult Summer Reading Program, the SBPL will start this program with a discussion about favorite travel movies of all time.  Following this discussion will be a showing of a travel movie that most of us have probably never seen that takes place in the outback of Australia.  The movie, Siam Sunset, directed by John Polson, (Mission Impossible II) is a sometimes dark but satisfying comedy about a British design executive, who seemingly has everything going for him when his life is suddenly turned around by the bizarre death of his wife.

, , 540 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, 9 a.m. If you missed the last Car-fit program you have another opportunity to take advantage of this program designed to keep you safe while driving your car. Carfit is a designation of AAA and is an educational program that offers older adults the opportunity to check how well their personal vehicles ‘fit’ them. The Carfit program also provides information and materials on community specific resources that could enhance their safety as drivers and increase mobility in the community. On Aug. 11 Brunswick Mobility will provide confidential assessments by trained technicians. Each appointment is about 20 minutes, takes place in your own car and is in the far senior center parking lot.
