Teen Tween Silver Screen at the SBPL

Lights! Camera! Popcorn! Grab your friends and join the SBPL as they enjoy movies, snacks, and laughs at the library.  This week's movie is "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonean." Future movies are "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" (June 7) and "Fantastic Mr. Fox" (June 14).  For Grades 4 through 7.

Wednesday Wisdom at the SBPL: "Exploring" Your Options for a Quality Retirement.  

Bruce Yenk, President of the Greater Central New Jersey Chapter of the Society for Financial Awareness (SOFA) who gave the recent presentation on Social Security, will address the Wednesday Wisdom group again, this time on the topic of "Exploring" Your Options for a Quality Retirement from 1:30 p.m.to 3:00p.m.  This seminar will cover why plan design is critical; understanding the impact of erosion through inflation and taxation; looking at options at the time of distribution from a company retirement plan; and proper steps in reviewing 401K performance.  

Thursday

South Brunswick Zoning Board Charter School Hearing 

The application for the proposed Princeton International Academy Charter School (PIACS), which is seeking to open the school at 12 Perrine Road, will return to be heard by the Zoning Board of Adjustments Thursday evening.  The hearing, which will begin at 7:45 p.m., has been moved to the South Brunswick Senior Center to accommodate the large crowd expected.    

Friday

Goddard School Open House Carnival

The Goddard School will celebrate its eighteenth birthday with a chance to meet their staff and other Goddard families from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be an inflatable moonbounce, food, games, and fun. In addition there will be an "Outsmart the Stranger" presentation by Ron Shuali of Shua Life at 6:00 p.m.
