South Brunswick Family YMCA Invites Kids and Parents to Come Play at Healthy Kids Day on Saturday

The YMCA holds Healthy Kids Day to bring families together to engage in fun, active play and learn healthier habits that help them grow and thrive.

On Saturday, April 16, the South Brunswick Family YMCA invites kids and parents in Monroe and South Brunswick to make a “play date” at the YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day. As the leading nonprofit for strengthening community, the Y holds Healthy Kids Day to bring families together to engage in fun, active play and learn healthier habits that help them grow and thrive. Activities are free and open to all.

At Healthy Kids Day, the nation’s largest health day for kids, families will enjoy making your own healthy trail mix, capture the flag, JerZee Jump moon bounce, and much more!

Saint Peter’s University Hospital will offer free body mass index for adults, heights and weight measurements for children, family nutrition information, family sun safety and derma scan screening for adults.

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital will be offering cholesterol and blood sugar screening and blood pressure testing. In addition, RWJ University Hospital and SafeKids will be offering car safety seat inspections. The Monmouth Junction First Aid Squad will provide tours of their ambulance. Magic 98.3 returns to provide music as well as opportunities to win prizes.
